Hails from: Alta Loma, California
Track Ride: 1990 240sx Fastback
Since 2003, Cindy had been a strong supporter of Drifting Pretty, and am now a member of the Drifting Pretty Program. She takes her car out to the track every month, at least once. Cindy has her hands full as a stay at home mother and plans to pursue a career in AutoCAD. She became interested in cars about two years ago. Cindy says, “There are many routes you may take to enhance your car’s driving ability and appearance. There are endless upgrades you can do to give your car more horsepower, better steering response, and to make your car look desirable from the spectators’ eyes.” In addition to her love to cars, Cindy loves cooking, family time, rock climbing, any outdoor activities, tennis, and martial arts.
Why Cindy chose to learn the art of drifting was for the challenge. Cindy recalls, “My eyes would become wide as I watched the drivers dominate their car while it’s out of control.” And then asked herself, “I wonder if I could ever do something like that?” In Cindy’s eyes, drifting is such a wonderful and rewarding sport. “Sure, anyone can get their rear end to lose traction, but the real challenge is maintaining your car’s angle while going sideways and being consistent. Once you are able to connect a drift, your smile can be seen a mile away, at least for me. To drift you need passion, dedication, persistence, good attitude, and a drive to be better. All of these traits live within me”, comments Cindy.
